Warema retractable insect screens or flyscreens are operated just like “normal” roller blinds. To open up the window, a small downward push is all that is needed to make the roller blind retract upwards, opening up the window space. Afterwards it can be easily closed and smoothly rolled down once again. When the insect screen is not required, such as in winter, it completely disappears into the cassette housing, where it is protected against the wind and dust. Because it is permanently installed, the screen is available at all times year round.
Roller blind insect screens are suitable for vertical windows and doors as well as for sloped areas such as skylights. The screen is opened and closed using a handle in the bottom rail – either from the inside or outside. The insect screen gauze is securely guided in the guide rail by two brushes. WAREMA use high quality components in the making of our insect screens which have been tried and test across Europe.
