Today All Fly Screens, a UK company using Corner Star Aluminium products made 3 vertical sliding window fly screen installations at the Spire Hospital in Southampton.
The challenge was to build frames onto the existing windows to ensure that the fly screens could be removed for periodic cleaning. The fly screens were mounted on plastic batons which were stuck and screwed to the window frame, then the fly screens were screwed onto the inner frame.
All Fly Screens also sourced and installed a white fire retardant venetian blind for the hospital. All of the work was carried out in the proximity of one of the Spire’s new state of the art operating theatres in Southampton.
